Lian-Li shows new PC-B16 and PC-A61 cases

Lian-Li has on his website with pictures of two new housings: the PC-B16 and PC-A61. The Taiwanese manufacturer has let us know that the prototypes are going to and ask on their website for feedback from the community.

Lian-Li promises on his blog, make adjustments on the basis of comments and the final models exhibit at the ict fair Cebit, which is from 10 to 14 march in Hannover, germany taking place. The two housings are identical, but on the outside. The PC-B16 has a door on the front for additional sound insulation and the PC-A61.

On the inside, the two enclosures equipped with an interior that is fully made of aluminum. The housings offer space for up to nine 3,5″ or 2,5″hdds, which without tools can be built. What ventilation is concerned there are two 120mm fans in the front and one on the back. There is also a space for a 140mm fan or two 120mm fans on the top. The housings accomoderen also waterkoelingsinstallaties.

Lian-Li wants, as much as possible, to give space for the components. The video card can be up to 28cm long, and after the removal of a number of drive bays this can be up to 42cm. The cpu cooler can be up to 17cm high and behind the atx-moederbordpaneel is 3cm space for the cables from the power supply. The dimensions of the cabinets themselves are 23 by 49 by 53 inches and they weigh 6,5 kg.
