Apple has the parent company behind the testing software TestFlight acquired. This seems to be the software to mobile apps testing available exclusively for iOS developers. The details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Rumors about the acquisition came out through TechCrunch, and the news was then in relatively vague terms confirmed by a spokesperson from Apple. It is unclear how many Apple for the parent company called Burstly, has paid. The latter was previously already known that its TestFlight software is no longer available for Android, a possible consequence of the acquisition by Apple.

TestFlight is software that developers can use for their applications testing. It is likely that Apple’s software wants to integrate into his ontwikkelaarstools for iOS. The company from Cupertino did not disclose what plans it has specifically.

Burstly is also the owner of FlightPath, analytics-software that allows developers to gain insight in the use of their app. FlightPath was available in beta, but Burstly announced that the service is closed. Therefore, it is plausible that the acquisition by Apple specifically aimed to TestFlight and get your hands on.
