Nikon has the D3300 announced, an entry-level dslr, which, among other things, must be distinguished by its limited size. The price for the body is 549 euro. In addition to the slr camera Nikon introduces a range of new CoolPix models.
The D3300 has a 24,2-megapixelsensor without low-pass filter with an iso range to 12800. The image processor is nikon’s Expeed 4 and the dslr can continubeelden at 5fps recording. The camera also features 11-point af system with kruissensor in the middle. There are a 3″lcd with 921.000 pixels and a wide optical viewfinder with a magnification of 0.85 x. The body measures 124x98x75,5mm, weighs 410gram and is available in black, red and grey.
Nikon asks for 549 euro for the body and in combination with a small, retractable AF-S DX 18-55 VR II kit lens, the price is 659 euros. Nikon also comes with the bright AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 G lens for 579 euro. On 6 February start of the sale.
The company also comes with a series of new CoolPix cameras. The S6800 with 12x optical zoom, the S5300 with 8x optical zoom features a 16-megapixel sensor The cameras with wi-fi support coming in the first half of February and the S6800 costs 219 euros, while the S5300 179 euro cost.
Also appear the S3600 and S2800 respectively for 139 euros and 109 euros. The former offers 8x optical zoom, while the S2800 5x optical zoom. The resolution is in both cases 20 megapixel.
In the L-series of CoolPix appears the L830 with 34x optical zoom. This 16-megapixel camera comes at the end of this month in black, red and purple for 249 euro. The L29 finally, also offers a resolution of 16 megapixel and Nikkor-wide-angle lens offers 5x zoom. This model will cost 79 euros.
