Blender Foundation brings 4k and 3d versions of Big Buck Bunny

The Dutch Blender Foundation has a 4k version is released of the well known Big Buck Bunny-animation. It is also a 3d version available. The clips are widely used in hardwaretests.

The first versions of Big Buck Bunny, an animation created using the powerful 3d graphics and animation package Blender, which came in 2008 and served as a showcase for the software used. The animated video was available up to 1080p resolutions and should be freely disseminated. A part of the necessary ‘rendertime’ for the video was via processors of volunteers obtained.

Meanwhile, the Blender Foundation, the Blender software develops and publishes two new versions of Big Buck Bunny and released. The clip, created by Janus B. Kristensen, is now available in 4k resolution. It is chosen for a fps of 60fps, so the video is well suited for testing the playback capabilities of hardware with potential 4k playback.
