The Chinese company Xiaomi will make its product portfolio for the consumer market and broaden with the introduction of a router. The still-unnamed router has a striking design and looks like the new Mac Pro models from Apple.
Xiaomi has with its creation in 2010, still a young company but growing very fast and is good for a billion dollar. The company also has an ever broader range of consumer electronics. Therefore, the company has smartphones in various price segments, but Xiaomi also manufactures hdtvs, and it sells via the web e-books. In the meantime the company also intends to market for network equipment, to enter with the introduction of a strikingly designed router.
There are virtually no technical details are known about the yet unnamed model, but the router would be about dual-band technology. Xiaomi has, however, the router has a housing, which with its round shapes, inspired resembles the new Mac Pro models from Apple. Xiaomi still has no price announced.
