Samsung brings GamePad controller for smartphones in Europe

Samsung has a game controller for Galaxy smartphones released in Europe. The controller with d-pad place on smartphones with schermdiagonalen 4-inch to 6.3 inch and the connection is via bluetooth. Also, there is support for nfc.

The Samsung Smartphone GamePad includes a d-pad, two analog sticks, four action buttons and two triggers on the back. Furthermore, there is a select and a start button on the front and a Play button in the middle. The controller can be done via bluetooth 3.0 with smartphones running Android 4.1 turning to be connected, but according to Samsung, the accessory is optimized for Android 4.3 devices as the Galaxy Note 3, Note II, S4 and S III, for connectivity via nfc 3.0 class 2 and the start of the games via the Play button.

The rear edge of the controller is to slide, and then smartphones in the controller clamped. This method differs from the iOS7 controllers for the iPhone that, until now, have appeared, such as those from Logitech: that offer place on the entire iPhone, with buttons on both sides.

The GamePad weighs 195 grams and contains a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 160mAh. It is not known how long the controller allows for keeping up. The item provides instant access to Samsung’s Mobile Console app, which allows users to games from the Samsung Apps store to choose and buy. Currently only 35 games supports but this number will increase, promises the manufacturer. Among the supported titles are Need for Speed Most Wanted, Asphalt8 : Airborne, Modern Combat 4 : Zero Hour, and Virtua Tennis.

The Samsung GamePad is available in Europe, but the price is still unknown.
