Apple has announced that the new Mac Pro starting Thursday december 19, to purchase. The cheapest model, which is equipped with a 3.7-GHz quad-core Intel Xeon E5 cpu and two AMD FirePro D300 graphics cards, costs 3049 euros, while a faster model 1000 euros more costs.
The new Mac Pro is constructed from a 25cm high aluminum housing and is significantly more compact than previous models. A Mac Pro with a price tag of 4049 euro offers a faster hexacore Intel Xeon E5 processor that is clocked at 3.5 GHz and a turbo of 3,9 GHz. Also are the AMD gpu’s upgraded to FirePro D500 graphics processors with 3 GB of vram. The working memory amounts to 16GB.
Optional Apple additional charge, also Xeon X5 cpu’s with eight or twelve-core chip. Also, there can be up to 64GB of ram in a Mac Pro are placed, as well as upgrades to an AMD FirePro D700 with 6GB of vram and ssd with a storage capacity up to 1TB.
