The Dutch company Thermosmart through crowdfunding more than 25,000 euros was raised for a smart thermostat. The device is remotely with mobile devices, and via a calendar application to be programmed.
Through the crowdfundingwebsite Oneplanetcrowd was the stated goal of 25,000 euros with two weeks to go, already more than exceeded. That means that Thermosmart its smart thermostat will introduce in the Dutch market, though it will still remain a small number. With Thermosmart, users can via an app, which is suitable for Android and iOS, their thermostat setting. It is also a ‘calendar feature’ provided, whereby temperature settings have to be programmed. Moreover, Thermosmart also through pc or laptop to access it.
Thermosmart is for 250 euros sold as soon as these are commercially available. For the use need no subscription to be taken, all close to the content that they are in the long term with additional, paid services come in. How these additional services will look is not yet known. However, Thermosmart announced an api for developers of applications for the thermostat. Also, it should be possible to the Thermosmart to integrate with the systems that are the building automation control.
Meanwhile, the Thermosmart a beta-test where the device in 25 households is connected. The company claims that the smart thermostat with the most boilers can handle. Via wifi the device is connected to a router so the home network.
