Google and Motorola have their budget smartphone Moto G will be presented. The smartphone has a 4.5″screen with 720p resolution, runs on a Snapdragon 400-soc from Qualcomm and should be in the loose sale, approximately 200 euros is going to cost you.

The Moto G is a cheap variant of Motorola’s Moto X, a smartphone which in August was released and mainly focused on being able to customize colors and accent colors. The Moto G doesn’t have that, but users can back themselves to change flip covers to order.

The Android smartphone has a 4.5″screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. This brings the pixel density at 326 pixels per inch, about the same as recent iPhones. The smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-soc, a quad-core with four Cortex A7 cores at a maximum clock speed of 1.2 GHz and features an Adreno 305 gpu. Also has Motorola a nanocoating applied to the phone to protect against splashes. The phone measures 130x66x11,6 mm and weighs 143 grams. The Moto G has no 4g and features a 2070mAh battery.

The smartphone runs on Android 4.3 and in January an update to Android 4.4. Motorola adds some own elements, but the appearance of the software is unchanged compared to the interface that Google uses for Android. That should be no surprise: Motorola is owned by Google. The Moto G is starting from Thursday in the sale in Europe for a price of only around 200 euros. The device comes directly in the Netherlands and Belgium, as Motorola announced.
