Sega put Yakuza Ishin ready for Japanese PS4 release

The Japanese publisher Sega has announced that the action game Yakuza Ishin should be ready for the release of the PlayStation 4 in Japan on 22 February 2014. Although the Yakuza series is well known in the West, is not yet clear whether this game outside of Japan is released.

Sony and Sega announced Yakuza Ishin Monday during a press conference of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan. In contrast to most of the Yakuza games, which normally modern Japanese gangsters central to play Yakuza Ishin is set in the feudal Japan. The game appears not only for the PlayStation 4, but also for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita. It supports cross-play between the Vita and the PS4, reports Destructoid.

A lot of titles during that presentation were shown or announced, the European or American market never reach, but Yakuza Ishin would be an exception to the rule. Sega brought in the past several Yakuza games to the West, though there was always at least a year between the Japanese and the European release. Europe and the United States, however, still on an English version of Yakuza 5, that last year in the Japanese shelves was. Sega has yet published anything about any plans for Yakuza 5 and Yakuza Ishin to the West.
