Nokia has software for in the car presented. The software runs on Nokia’s former cross-platform toolkit Qt. It is intended that manufacturers the software in their new models, but still no car brand has announced that it will do so.

Here Car is special software in the car and not derivative of other software from Nokia for smartphones. The software not only allows for navigatiefunctionaliteit, but also makes it possible to routes to and from familiar places to set up to check for traffic. The service provides, if necessary, a redirection. Some functionality requires an internet connection, but many works also offline. The internet connection works over standard mobile networks.
