Dell announces UltraSharp monitor with ultra hd resolution

Dell has been on the Siggraph conference, and a 32″monitor with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels announced. The Dell UltraSharp 32 would be thanks to the igzo-schermtechniek a color gamut of 1.07 billion colors.

Dell focuses with the monitor at professional users. This is not only evident from the high number of colors the panel can produce, but also from the included software. That software gives access to the lookup table, which the screen can be calibrated.

The UltraSharp 32 is on an aluminium foot, in contrast to the plastic chassis that Dell in many other UltraSharp monitors book. The screen also features a generous amount of ports; displayport and mini-displayport are present, in addition to an hdmi connection. A usb hub and an sd card reader are also present, reports Engadget.

Dell will the 32″monitor in the fourth quarter of 2013 release. It is not yet clear whether the screen than in the Netherlands will be released and at what price that will be.
