Asus is working on a smaller version of its PadFone Infinity. In addition, the Taiwanese company is also a cheap 8″tablet in the pipeline. Asus’ goal for this year is to get more tablets under its own name to sell with the Nexus label.

This is how the name ‘PadFone mini’ to be found in the slides. Asus has in the past, all three PadFone models released, but this is the first time that a mini-variant is spoken. In the previous PadFones, it went every time to a high-end smartphone that’s in a 10.1″-tabletomhulsel put could be. Or the addition of ‘mini’ means that the phone is physically smaller than his, or that it is a smaller tabletomhulsel, is unknown.

Also, in the slides a MeMo Pad HD 8; this is most likely a slightly larger version of the MeMo Pad HD 7, a budgettabblet that Asus recently introduced. New Transformer tablets is also on the schedule. Also mention is made of a MeMOFone HD 5. In what price range, that unit will fall is not clear, Asus used the name MeMOFone not for a phone. The MeMo tablets are often on the cheap side.

Currently, the Nexus 7 is the best-selling tablet of the company, and that will be the introduction of the new Nexus 7 is likely to remain so. This is, however, as Google tablet in the market. At the end of the third quarter would be the combined sales of Asus’ other tablets, the sales of the Nexus 7 need to go beyond, hopes Shen.
