Archos comes with new tablets, smartphones, gamepad and smartwatch

Archos has a large number of products with Android announced, including new tablets and smartphones. Also appears the GamePad 2: a new version of the gaminghandheld of the French company. In addition, the company is working on a smartwatch.

Archos takes the new products at a glance and promises more details during the IFA-consumer electronics next week in Berlin will start. So there are new high-endtablets with Android 4.2 in the Platinum series with quadcore processors, aluminum enclosures, support for wireless display technology and ips screens with resolutions of up to 2048×1536 pixels. The 97 Platinum HD from the beginning of this year, has similar properties, so may be this is a modest update.

The new Xenon-tablets also have Android 4.2 and quad-core processors, but in contrast to the Platinum tablets offer these tablets in addition, support for 3g. Archos already has the 8″ Xenon 80 in his product range, but the term ‘hd screens’ suggest that the new versions may have a higher resolution than 1024×768 go. There will also be a new Gen11-model. Finally, it announced the Archos in the future with lte devices to come, and says the company is on a smartwatch concept to work, without more details here about.
