Samsung announces Galaxy Ace 3 with 4g

Samsung has a new Android smartphone in the Galaxy Ace series. The affordable device has a screen with a diagonal of 4″ and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. In addition, the device is suitable for 4g.

The phone is the successor of the Galaxy Ace 2, which is more than a year ago came out with a number of improvements, including 4g support. The Ace 3 will work on all 4g networks in the Netherlands; it provides support for the 800MHz, 1800MHz and 2600MHz bands.

The device is equipped with an unnamed dual-core processor with a clock speed of up to 1.2 GHz. The gpu is likely a PowerVR SGX 544MP, a reasonably modern gpu for a midrange phone. The 4″screen has a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels, the same resolution as its predecessor, but on a slightly bigger screen.

The ram is 1GB and the unit has 8GB of internal memory, which expandable with a micro sd card of up to 64GB. He is also equipped with a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a vga camera on the front.

Samsung adds, as usual, a number of its own features to the Android operating system. In this way, the Ace 3 include the so-called S Translator, S Travel, Smart Stay and S Voice. The first two are features that for the first time on the Galaxy S4 were and are primarily intended for use abroad, already has the translation app, no support for English. The other two features are already more than a year-on-Samsung-phones. With Smart Stay, the phone can determine whether or not a user look at the display and if that is not the case, the screen is dimmed. The unit has a suggested retail price of 299 euros and is from the summer in the Netherlands is available in two colors: black and white. The dimensions are 121,2×62,7x10mm; the weight is approximately 120 grams.
