There are pictures and specs online of an unannounced phone from HTC: the Butterfly S. The phone has a 5″screen with 1080p resolution, it features stereo speakers on the front and an Ultrapixel camera.
The soc in the Butterfly S would be a Snapdragon 600, just like in the HTC One, with unknown clock speed. The phone is a minor update of the Butterfly, the first phone from HTC with a 1080p screen that is at the end of last year, released in the United States, Japan and parts of Asia, and this spring also in Dutch shops appeared.
The Butterfly S is not like the One made largely of metal, but of plastic. Compared to the previous Butterfly, the speakers on the front placed, presumably to get stereo sound to let you hear if the phone flat on a table. One, this is called BoomSound. Also, the Ultrapixel camera, with fewer, larger pixels for light to catch, the Butterfly’s are present. The phone runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1 or 4.2, covered with HTC’s own skin, Sense 5.
The phone would next week be presented. A third Butterfly-phone with the name Butterfly 2 at the end of this year, reports Focus Taiwan. About the details of that device is still relatively clear.
