Chrome OS gets experimental ability to Office files to edit

Users of the Chrome OS given the opportunity to Excel and Word documents to edit. An experimental feature is recently enabled and is based on the technology of QuickOffice, a company that Google recently acquired.

The feature was discovered by developer François Beaufort, that his findings placed on the social network Google+. The Office-edit functionality seems to be based on QuikOffice. QuickOffice is a provider of Office tools for mobile platforms and was recently launched by Google incorporated.
