AMD has Tuesday two new processors in the FX-series released. Both achtkernige processors feature Piledriver cores and are high clocked; the FX-9370 tap hold up to 4.7 GHz, while the FX-9590 up to 5GHz.

AMD handle gamebeurs E3 to the two new processors. Both cpus feature Piledriver cores, which is also in the current FX processors. The design of the processors is also not new and have just in the current AM3+sockets fit. The processors have a selectable multiplier and achieve their maximum frequencies by making use of AMD’s Turbo Core 3.0 technology.

A lot more information about the processors AMD not yet published, but Sweclockers recently published information that the moederbordfabrikant Gigabyte got. Although the said order does not match the newly introduced FX-9590, it seems to be the same processor. The base frequency of the 5 ghz sample would be 4,8 GHz and the processor would 4x2MB L2 cache and 8MB L3-cache memory. The tdp of the processor with 220 watts to almost 100 watts higher than that of the current flagship, the FX-8350.

AMD processors for the time being not to sell them separately, but supplies only to system builders. The processors have at the beginning of the summer, all systems appear.
