Manufacturers show their new GTX 780 graphics cards

After Nvidia Thursday, GTX 780 presented, it is now the turn of the partners of Nvidia to make their version of the map. Some manufacturers show the features of the standard version almost unchanged, others have the video card changed, however.

MSI, Zotac, Palit, Gainward, Galaxy, PNY and Asus have presented only a ‘stock’version of the new video card. Asus, however, shows that at the upcoming Computex a DirectCU II version of the video card will show with a custom cooler. Also Palit says in the future with an improved version of the GTX 780 to come. Further specifications of these cards are not yet known.

EVGA pulls out al the stops with no less than seven variants, but the manufacturer has not yet of all the cards to the specifications released. The seven cards are divided into three groups; cards with the so-called ACX-cooling from EVGA itself, models with a typical cooler from EVGA and variants with the standard cooler from nVidia. The ACX cooling system according to EVGA not only the gpu but also the memory and the mosfets with better cooling than the standard cooler. The most notable card from the manufacturer is the GTX 780 Superclocked with ACX cooler, here are the streamprocessors overclocked to 967MHz and the boostclock comes in at 1020MHz. The memory clock speed is unchanged, it is not known whether the card needs more power.

Gigabyte comes in addition to a standard edition with an overclocked version which is equipped with the so-called Windforce cooler. This is overclocked to 954MHz with a boostclock of 1006MHz; memory of the card is just as the supply remained the same.
