NEC provides 24″monitor ips panel with 1920×1200 pixels

NEC has a new 24″monitor ge lwa device which is equipped with an ah-ips panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. Also, the monitor has a displayport connector and a ge lwa integrated usb hub.

The new 24.1″panel of the NEC P242W-BK has a specified brightness of 350cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. With a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:10, the ppi value at 93. The response time of the panel is according to NEC at 8ms, while both the horizontal and vertical viewing angle of 178°.

NEC has the monitor features hdmi, displayport and dvi-d connections, while also an analog vga input is present. Also, the monitor may serve as a usb hub with three connections. The usb functionality may be in accordance with NEC used for DisplaySync Pro, a feature that the user has two computers to use one keyboard and mouse.

The monitor can be thanks to a AmbiBright sensor to adjust brightness based on ambient light. The power consumption by NEC on 29,5 W specified, and 0.2 W in stand-by. Further, it is the monitor adjustable in height and P242W-BK is both tiltable as a swivel.
