In a blog post late Jevon Fark of Microsoft know that all versions of Office 2013, ninety days after activation are transferable to other systems. Also licenses for los purchased programs such as Outlook 2013 will fall under the new scheme. The new conditions apply to new and already sold licenses of the software and are effective immediately. Microsoft will soon be the terms and conditions of use in the software to adjust.

There is a lot of confusion arose about the licensing model of Office 2013. From the user agreement appeared at first that the Office 2013 software is bound to the first computer on which the software was activated. This would mean that users with a defective system to have their license suspended. Earlier versions of Office had this limitation not yet; it was the license after ninety days to be transferred to another system.

Microsoft clarified then the license terms by means of a blog post and made an exception for users that the system is within the warranty period broken. On the repaired or replacement computer would still be the same licence used may be, provided that the victim contacted Microsoft. Users who have unlimited licenses wanted to transfer between different systems were forced to Office 365 to take off. Office 365 is a subscription service from Microsoft that a computer with OS X or Windows, or a tablet with Windows RT, the latest version of Microsoft Office can provide. For 99 euros per year Office 365 Home Premium’ is unlimited, and may on five devices simultaneously.
