The developers behind the BitTorrent protocol have a first public version released their streamingsoftware that works on the basis of peer-to-peer. The service, BitTorrent Live, is intended for users who own online video stream.

According to the makers have the BitTorrent Live software users an easy and cheap way to offer a video stream. By allowing users to the video stream with their own bandwidth to make a contribution, the stream will be more stable to the extent there are more people watching, says BitTorrent.
