Amazon has the desktop clients of its Cloud Drive storage service extended: from now on, is the syncing of files as possible. This is the software from now on as wide as that of Dropbox, SkyDrive and Google Drive.
Amazon has little publicity to the expansion, but the desktop appears, after an update to feature a sync option. Until now, the offered software is only the option to transfer data to Cloud Drive to upload; to download files, the browser version of Cloud Drive be accessed. Thus, the software was far less extensive than those of competing services as Dropbox, SkyDrive and Google Drive.
Cloud Drive now works basically the same as the software of the competitors: there is a folder and each file therein is placed, is synchronized with the servers of Amazon. Unlike Dropbox and Google Drive, however, no check marks are displayed in files that are fully uploaded to the servers of Amazon, which not a single glance to see if the upload is completed.
As with the other services is the service to a certain amount of storage free to use; above must be paid. Amazon provides users more choices than the competition: for example, users can choose to enable the storage of standard 5GB to extend it to 20GB, 50GB, 100GB, 200GB, 500GB or 1TB.
