Apple has applied for a patent for a system with an elongated flexible touchscreen that the wrist can be worn. The application appears after years of rumors about the arrival of a watch, which Apple would work.

The original patent application dates back from August 2011, reports AppleInsider, the document is first discovered. The patent application with the name “Bi-stable spring with flexible display” describes a device with an elongated flexible touch screen.
