The latest firmware update for Apple’s Airport and Time Capsule has the consequence that the tunnelling of ipv6 over ipv4 is not possible, complain users on Apple’s official lwa le support forum. The only solution is preliminary to a possible update to roll back.

Several users are complaining on the support forum of Apple which ipv6 tunneling no longer works in the latest firmware update, as found 9to5mac. Airports and Time Capsules that have been updated, notify the user that the ipv6 connection is broken. The only way to work around the problem seems to be not installing the update.

Who the update is already installed, can solve the problem by an old firmware version to install. Apple has not yet responded to the problem, so it’s still unclear which it is caused and when it will be fixed. Ipv6 tunneling allows an ipv6 connection over an ipv4 connection to use. The protocols are not compatible, allowing a user to connect to tunnel as his isp is not ipv6-capable.
