Belgian politicians want solution for strict radiation standards in Brussels

Belgian politicians are working on a proposal that ensures that the radiation standards in Brussels are adjusted. Currently, would make the standards too strict, which, among other things, the creation of a 4g network in the capital is difficult.

That, says the Belgian news site Knack on the basis of statements of politicians in the French newspaper L’Echo. In this case, Evelyne Huytebroeck, in Belgium, working as the minister of the Environment, a proposal in need to providers to meet. That claim already for some time that it is impossible to provide a comprehensive 4g network in the Belgian capital due to strict radiation standards.

It is not yet clear how the proposal of Huytebroeck exactly come out to see; some technical details would still have to be developed. In addition, there would have been other politicians who are working on a proposal with respect to the radiation standards, but these are only developed as the initiative of Huytebroeck fails. The particular proposal should be before the end of the month to be submitted.

The majority of Belgian companies have already started with the rollout of 4g based on lte, though the availability is still limited. It is still unclear whether the change in the radiation standards for a final roll-out of 4g in Brussels.
