An organization of European publishers find that Google to all European media companies a fee to be paid, for indexing of their content in its search engine. The claim follows after Google’s earlier eur 60 million paid to a French uitgeversfonds.

According to the European Publishers Council need to Google, just as for the French, deposit money in a special fund to help media companies in Europe to be compensated for the indexing of their content in the search engine, reports Reuters. Moreover, the organization also believes that other content aggregators to pay for the recording of the content of European media companies.

Google is already under fire because of the indexing of the content of, among other krantenwebsites in its search engine. Beneficiaries are of the opinion that Google makes money with their content and they therefore should be compensated. Google has for a long time not to want to admit, but collapsed recently, up to 60 million euros in a special fund to activities under other French newspapers to promote.

Previously, it was already a case with the Belgian krantenwebsites suitable. Also, there is still a case regarding the inclusion of content in the search engine in Germany. Therefore, it is likely that Google still several European countries in the pouch will have to grope for its indexing to continue.
