In a preliminary ruling, a U.s. judge, the requirement of a Guns N’ Roses singer W. Axl Rose rejected. The singer demands 20 million dollars from publisher Activision because former bandmate Slash in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is to be seen. The requirement, however, came too late.
Judge Charles Palmer suggested during the hearing, however, that he inclined to the requirement of Rose to reject because the singer who of late has been submitted. On the question of why Rose was only three years after the release of the game submitted a complaint, answered the singer that Activision made him an own game had offered that negotiation in the intervening years. “From december 2007 to November 2010, offered Activision me a Guns N’ Roses-game, a game around the Chinese Democracy album, and other proposals.”
The singer could not, however, proof of the negotiations, allowing the court the whole rationalizing as an oral appointment. That according to Palmer a validity of two years, what makes that Rose at the latest until the end of 2009 the time had to his claim. The final judgment of the court will follow within a few weeks.
