First phone with Firefox OS coming next month

The first phone to actually be released with Firefox OS as an operating system, probably in the next month on telecombeurs Mobile World Congress in Barcelona presented. The Chinese manufacturer ZTE makes the phone.

ZTE has an invitation for its press event at the Mobile World Congress hashtags that probably indicate the devices that are presented. The first hashtag refers to the Grand Memo, an Android smartphone with a 5.7″screen. The second hashtag is #ztemozilla, a clear reference to Mozilla, the maker of Firefox OS.

Last year, the Chinese manufacturer already in handsets with Firefox OS. The first Firefox OS phone is supposedly in Spain and is intended as a cheaper smartphone. Mozilla and the Spanish manufacturer GeeksPhone presented a few weeks ago, a ontwikkelaarstelefoon for the new mobile platform.

In Firefox OS every app based on web standards like html5. Furthermore, web sites with small additions to the code as an app to the phone run, where also notifications can be displayed. Firefox OS is aimed on the market for low-end phones under 100 euro.
