Guillermo del Toro says in conversation with a ‘large party’ which is still on the game Insane on the market. Which party that is, makes the film director is not known. The game should be altered, think Del Toro.

Guillermo del Toro made the announcement in an interview with the Toronto Sun. “We are in talks with a very, very large party. I can’t say which, but it is one of the big boys. They are very positive about the game, about what we are trying to achieve”, said the film director. The concept of the game, however, something will have to be adjusted. “Some of the mechanics from the game, we will have to update, because I saw in other games. That always happens, but in principle we try an engaging and narrative experience, and that is still a huge challenge.”

Insane was at the end of 2010 announced as a survival-horrorgame that in 2013 the market was to come. The game was made by Volition, a studio owned by THQ. The game would appear for the pc, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. THQ is, however, already for a long time in financial trouble and had to the production of the game midway through 2012 strike. The rights to the game were then in the hands of Del Toro. According to the film director since then, still the game worked, although he still do not want to ruin it by any developer.
