The organization behind the Micro Four Thirds camerastandaard has announced that five new companies behind the standard itself. It goes to JK Imaging, a Kodak m4/3 camera, and camera maker Blackmagic Design.
The Micro Four Thirds standardisation body, created by Olympus and Panasonic, there are five new members. At least two manufacturers was already known that they have a camera with m4/3-lensmount wanted to go to the release, namely, JK Imaging and Blackmagic Design.
So JK Imaging at CES announced a license agreement with Kodak for the use of the camera brand, and showed the company last week during a press conference in Beijing, a first prototype of a m4/3 camera. That, however, will be focused on the Asian market.
The other companies when consumers are less familiar. Photron is a maker of high-speed cameras, with a top model with 12.000 frames per second can shoot, SVS-Vistek is a company that specializes in cameras for industrial applications, while the last new addition to the Micro Four Thirds standard, ViewPlus, special video equipment with live feed develops.
