Toshiba has a new laptop for entertainmenttaken released. The Satellite L955 is a 15.6 inch notebook which, according to the manufacturer should be distinguished with its low weight and thickness. There is 1TB of storage capacity.
In april of this year, Toshiba’s new Satellite L-generation of consumentenlaptops. The L955 that the company is now on the market with a thickness of 24.7 mm 26% thinner than the models, and also the weight is reduced: the notebook with 15.6″screen, weighs 2.3 pounds.
The manufacturer equip the notebook with Core i3 and Core i5 processors from the Ivy Bridge generation. There is 8GB ddr3 1600MHz-memory, which is expandable to 16GB. The hdd offers a storage capacity of 1 terabyte. In the area of interfaces, the notebook is usb 2.0, two usb 3.0 ports, hdmi, 10/100 ethernet, and a combined sd/mmc memory card reader. Some models with bluetooth 4.0-equipped, but by default, this feature is not.
A blu-raydrive has the laptop but a dvd-drive. The work time that the 4-cell battery can supply would be approximately 4 hours. On the resolution of the screen shows Toshiba only know that this is ‘hd’, that manufacturers usually indicate that it is 1366×768. On the Us product page of Toshiba, this is also the resolution that is mentioned. The notebook comes in the Benelux at the end of november and has a starting price of 599 euro.
