Microsoft is working on a stripped-down variant of the new generation Xbox console, which is mainly intended for streaming content and running of casual games. The device should be an affordable alternative to the full-fledged console, report sources from The Verge.
The set-top box would be on the basis of Windows 8 start to run. What hardware the manufacturer in the device is going to stop is not yet known, but it would be a fuel-efficient chipset that should ensure that the device always to remain and offers direct access to the entertainment services from Microsoft.
