Telenet has announced that watching digital tv through an Indi-decoder from 3 december no longer will be possible. About 40,000 customers, according to the administration of Telenet still make use of outdated Indi-decoders.
The 2004 omnibus Indi platform, a legacy of the 2008 Telenet acquired kabelprovider Interkabel, Telenet-customers have limited possibilities. So viewers could not make use of interactive services if Ever Missed, iWatch, The Red Button or the TV library. Telenet decided to let Indi-decoders in July 2009 of the market.
