Asus brings gamingnotebook with 14″screen and GTX 660M from

Asus has a new laptop in its Republic of Gamer series released. The G46VW is the first gaming laptop with a 14″screen of the of the company. The appearance of the machine corresponds to that of the larger G-gaminglaptops and the device has a Thunderbolt port, and GeForce GTX 660M.

The current gamenotebooks in the G-series from Asus have of 17.3″ and a 15.6″screens, but the company adds a smaller variation to the series. According to Asus his ‘no concessions as regards performance, despite the smaller form factor and lower weight. The exact details about the dimensions and weight are, however, not yet published.

The G46VW features a Core i7 processor from the Ivy Bridge generation and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M with 2GB of gddr5 memory. The GTX 660M is a gpu on Nvidia’s Kepler architecture based, and that the top of the mainstreammarkt needs to operate. In addition, the G46VW about a Thunderbolt port and ssd storage with unknown capacity.

The appearance of the G46VW is consistent with that of the larger gaming laptops in the Republic of Gamer series. So there are the two large grilles on either side of the back for the heat release and the surface of the housing is covered with a matt rubber coating. Also is the keyboard illuminated. The price and release date are still unknown, and also to specifications such as the resolution, it is still guessing.
