Microsoft has confirmed that it no longer will make use of Microsoft Points as currency for purchases within Windows 8. The payment system remains the standard for gamers who are content on an Xbox 360 like to purchase.
A Microsoft spokesperson has told The Verge confirmed that the company no longer has the use of Microsoft Points will require for purchases on Windows 8. Instead, there will be standard with the local currency to be settled, a change that earlier this week quietly introduced. Users who have points in their account, you may optionally choose content with their Points to purchase.
