Reportedly works LG to a variant of its Android flagship LTE2, which should worldwide be released. The device features a quadcore-soc from Qualcomm and works with the 4g network technology lte.

The Korean news site Asia Today claims that the device is known under the name of Optimus G and is intended to be an international competition with the Samsung Galaxy S III. For that purpose the device in multiple countries at the same time to be released. This suggests that the Optimus G to Europe, although this is not certain can be said. According to Asia Today want to LG the device next month to announce, but it is still unclear when the Optimus G in the shops.

It is likely that the Optimus G international variant of the Korean unit LTE2, LG recently released. The biggest difference is that the G version has a quadcore-soc from Qualcomm, which is probably the APQ8064. Previously found details out of an American LG device with this chip, so probably the Optimus G should be. The LTE2 came in the Korean market with a dualcore soc from Qualcomm.

Furthermore, the Optimus G, according to the news site about a 4.7″screen with 720p resolution, 2GB of internal memory and a 13 megapixel camera. The still unannounced device would be compatible with the 4g network technology lte. LG has built-in support for voice-over-lte technology, which can be called via the 4g connection. The software would be based on Android 4.0, where LG own skin.

It therefore seems likely that the Optimus G in the United States comes out. Given the wording of Asia Today seems to be a European release, however, also plausible. Will LG than any other baseband-processor building: the Us and Korean variants make use of cdma, which will not work on the in Europe conventional gsm networks. The previous flagship, the Optimus LTE, has already received a European release: Germans can the device now buy. However, it remains unclear whether the Optimus G to come.
