Motorola would be its new Android smartphone, the Razr M in Europe want to release an Intel Medfield-soc. The phone has in the United States, an ARM chip on board. Motorola had promised this year, an Intel-based smartphone.
The American versions of the new Razr smartphones have a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 soc on board, probably because the S4 until now as the only lte support without a separate chip. The smartphone with Intel soc is given a different name, but will look the same as the Razr M, sign gadgetblog Pocket-Lint. Probably also keeps the screen the same: a Super Amoled panel with a diagonal of 4.3″ and a resolution of 960×540 pixels.
Motorola promised earlier in the second half of this year, a device with an Intel soc. It is unclear to what soc exactly. Intel tries the ARM-dominated smartphone market to conquer with its new Medfield-soc. Until now, there were a few models with the Intel processors, such as the Lava Xolo X900. In the Netherlands, is not yet Intel-smartphone widely available. Motorola holds about a two-week press event, which the smartphone will probably be officially presented.
