African phone has a claimed standby time of up to two months

A manufacturer of phones for the African market, claims that his latest model has a standby time of two months. The phone is equipped with a 2700mAh battery, larger than that of, for example, the Samsung Galaxy Note.

The Mi3000 is not a smartphone but runs on a by the manufacturer in assembled operating system with Opera Mini as the default browser. The lack of a long battery life is one of the biggest annoyances of the users of smartphones, because of the many features, large screens, and permanently open internet connections, many devices up to a day. The 2700mAh battery is not the largest battery in a phone: Motorola has brought in some European countries this spring, the Razr Maxx, an Android smartphone with 3300mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Note has a 2500mAh battery, the LG Optimus 4X HD 2150mAh battery.
