PayPal takes the business card.io. Card.io has developed technology that allows credit cards to be scanned with the camera of a smartphone. What amount of PayPal for the acquisition consideration, is unclear.

Card.io makes sdk’s for developers of apps for Android and iOS. This is possible with the use of a smartphone, a credit card will be scanned and the payment can be performed.
