Samsung investigates oververhittingsclaim Galaxy S III

Samsung has released a statement letting you know that the claims of overheating with its smartphone Galaxy S III is investigating. The manufacturer has the investigation after a picture came out of a unit with traces of burning.

On his weblog allows the Korean manufacturer to know on the height of the image that is circulating around the internet, in which a burned Galaxy S III. Samsung promises the event to investigate as soon as the conscious unit is sent to the manufacturer. So, it is still unclear whether the Galaxy S III actually in danger of overheating or that it is here to an incident.

The image shows a device with traces of burning on the bottom. According to the owner, he had the Galaxy S III with a car kit connected when the problems arose. It claims to he that there are white flames from the unit were, with the plastic melted. Because the bottom is burnt, seems to be the battery, which is usually very hot in smartphones, not the cause of the problems.

Samsung brought its Galaxy S III last month. The device features a quadcore-soc of his own making and a 4.8″screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The device should compete with the One X from HTC, which is also a quadcore-soc.
