In the whole of the EU applies from Sunday, a maximum charge for mobile internet abroad of 83 cents per MB. All providers, however, offer independent bundles for using mobile internet abroad. We put them on a list.
The European Commission has adopted the maximum tariff for mobile internet abroad is enforced by providers. That maximum rate is as per today without vat 70 cents per MB, including vat amounts to 83 cents per MB. Who is using mobile internet abroad, will pay up to that amount. Until now there was no maximum rate. The maximum only applies within the EU and not in the rest of the world.
In anticipation of the maximum rate, all major carriers now come with significantly cheaper bundles for mobile internet. These bundles make use of mobile internet abroad is still much more expensive than within the Netherlands, but cheaper than the maximum rate.
KPN has only a maandbundel, but customers pay only if they are mobile internet abroad. The bundle costs € 10 per 100MB, then a next bundle enabled. Therefore, cost data is always 10 euro per 100MB.
Vodafone has a dagbundel of 2 euros for 35MB. Big advantage of Vodafones dagbundel is that there is also a 20-minute call, 20 minutes of calls and 20 sms messages labeled, allowing customers with a bundle of ready. The limit of 35MB would also be for checking email and occasionally browsing on vacation for a lot of people should be sufficient.
T-Mobile has four choices. The monthly subscription, 14.95 euros for 500MB, is unsuitable for on holiday; consumers pay nearly 15 euros every month, even outside the holidays. The day passes and weekpassen are suitable. Especially the weekpas is interesting, because the user after 100MB back in speed; the user will never pay more than 14,95 euro for a week.
