KPN has tried to keep its German unit E-Plus to sell it, but that didn’t work out. That let the company know. The talks with companies that the mobile operator wanted to take over have been discontinued, according to the telecommunications company.

KPN wanted to, perhaps, billions of euro’s to obtain the sale of E-Plus, Germany mobile services. Because there is no overnamepartner is found, the sale will not, says the company in a statement. That is due to lack of funds at other companies. “The current difficult conditions in the capital markets have ensured that there is currently no agreement could be reached. The interviews have stopped.”

The Dutch telecommunications company put its German business earlier this year in the sale, just as it did with the Belgian subsidiary Base. KPN is now a statement issues on E-Plus, has to do with the offer of the Mexican telco America Movil, which has more than a quarter of the shares of KPN wants to have. The company of multimiljardair Carlos Slim wants the foot to get off the ground in Europe. KPN is yet by with operations with E-Plus in Germany. The provider said nothing about the progress of the negotiations on Base.
