AMD introduces new generation of FirePro graphics cards

AMD released its latest generation of graphics cards, for business use, the so-called Quadro-cards, ge lwa site. The new W600-series makes use of the Graphics Core Next architecture and 28nm production.

The W600 FirePro cards are meant primarily for display screens for so-called digital signage applications. Those monitors must include information in public spaces like train stations and airports to display, or be used for advertising video in public. The video cards would be made to several large screens simultaneously and multidisplay-‘walls’ to build.
