Rates for the use of mobile internet abroad from this summer to a maximum. That the European Parliament has decided. In addition, users can, from 2014, each country is a provider choose for roaming.
The price caps for roaming within Europe were already known, but now the European Parliament majority accepted a proposal from the European Commission, the ‘government’ of Europe. It is the first time that there is a maximum price on mobile internet within the European Union. There were maximum prices for voice minutes and text messages. From 2014 users can for a trip, for example a holiday, a roamingpakket with a local provider. Thus, the user remains reachable on the own number, but can be used the lower, local rates.
