EU presents strategy to make the internet safer for youth

The European Commission has drawn up plans to give children online to ensure greater security while also improving the quality of content available for young people. The EU wants internet companies and telco’s more involved.

One of the objectives that the EU refers to the creative and educational sectors to encourage high-quality content for children and young people online. Another priority is to children and young people to learn more about how they can move safely on the internet, while there is also a more accessible hotlines should be set for this target group if they encounter problems.
