Activision and EA settle out of court

Publishers Activision and Electronic Arts are to a settlement reached in the case that Activision had filed against EA and two former developers from Infinity Ward. EA is, therefore, no party in the case.

The settlement between the companies was Wednesday, published by Electronic Arts. Both publishers have declared the issue behind him wanting to leave. Details, however, were not published. Activision asked initially in the amount of $ 400 million from Electronic Arts because EA according to Activision developers had recruited for Activision worked. It is not known whether, and if so, how much EA has finally paid to Activision.

The news about the settlement between Activision and Electronic Arts followed shortly on a rejection by the court of a request from Activision to the lawsuit with thirty days.
