Acer announced the new TravelMate laptop with Ivy Bridge

Acer has a new notebook announced in its TravelMate series. The business laptop with 14″screen with Core i5, based on Intel’s Ivy Bridge architecture and Nvidia’s GeForce GT 630M equipped.

The TravelMate P243 Acer includes a 14″screen with a resolution of 1366×768. The processor is still unspecified Core i5 dual-core based on Intel’s Ivy Bridge architecture, and in addition, up to 8GB ddr3 memory and a hard disk with a storage capacity of 750GB. The gpu is the GT 630M of Nvidia, which has the same Fermi-gpu based on the GT 540M.

Furthermore, it supports the laptop wi-fi n, bluetooth 4.0, and gigabit ethernet. The other specifications know NotebookItalia, first about the laptop message, not to report. But it is clear that Acer has many of its own business software voorinstalleert. So is the ProShield available for the security of the laptop, including functionality for the tpm module and pre-boot authentication. It is also FileShredder for thoroughly erasing data and the Backup eRecovery-suite. When the Travelmate in the Netherlands comes out and what it will cost is not known, but most likely at the earliest in the beginning of June, as Intel have Ivy Bridge-dualcores will announce.
