Google may be ordered to pay compensation to an Android user due to the change of the privacy terms. Google has not responded to the indictment, which the user is likely to right.

The Android user, the British privacyvoorvechter Alexander Hanff, has submitted a request to Google by default, to condemn to pay a fee for a new phone. So a default judgement is often assigned if the claim is not excessive. It would be the first time that Google is doomed because of the change of the privacy terms.

Hanff claims that Google is changing the terms of the agreement for the sale of his Android phone, a HTC Desire, which has adapted to his disadvantage. If Hanff his Google account, want to cancel, but his phone will continue to use it, he can almost only call or text; for many of the services on an Android phone is a Google account.

If the judge of the amount of only 480 euros assigns, will Hanff that is not to be used for the purchase of a Windows Phone device, as he first planned. Nokia has given him a free device sent to you. That is why he wants to use the money for other people to pay the costs for the filing of an indictment due to the change in the terms and conditions. So he hopes more people to the same legal steps.

Google combines with its new privacy policy on 1 march entered into force, data from different services and from Android phones to get a better profile of users to be able to establish and, therefore, more targeted ads can sell. Google makes a serious infringement on the right to privacy of Android users, claimed Hanff upon the filing of his indictment.
