Ubisoft replaces lead developer of Rainbow 6 Patriots

The French publisher Ubisoft has announced that David Sears is no longer the creative director behind Rainbow 6 Patriots. The company has not reported what the reason is why Sears is not in the development is concerned.

“David Sears is no longer part of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots team and the new creative director is Jean-Sebastien Decant,” Ubisoft to Gameinformer. “The development team is still working hard on the new part in the prestigious Tom Clancy games series and there will at a later time more information will be released about the game,” decided Ubisoft are comments.

The statement from Ubisoft followed news coverage of Gameinformer about the departure of Sears. According to the American gameswebsite would except Sears also narrative director Richard Rouse III, lead designer Philippe Therien and animation director Brent George from the project to be collected.
